How do I repay my loan, and what happens if I pay partial amount or pay late?

Repayment:

You may make full or partial repayments at any time during the loan term by adding funds to your du Pay wallet through the du Pay app.

On the Due Date, du Pay may automatically deduct the amount due from your du Pay wallet. You must ensure that the full outstanding amount, together with any applicable Late Payment Fees and VAT, is repaid on or before the Due Date.

Insufficient funds:

If insufficient funds are available, a partial recovery may be made, and the remaining balance will continue to be due.

Partial repayments:

Partial repayments are permitted; however, they do not reduce, waive, or refund the Processing Fee, and any applicable Late Payment Fees will still apply if the loan remains unpaid after the Due Date.

Late Payment Fee

If payment is not received by the Due Date, a Late Payment Fee equal to 10% of the outstanding principal amount, plus applicable VAT, will be charged. Late payments may also adversely affect your credit record.

Repayment order:

Any payments received will be applied in the following order:

  • Late Payment Fees (if applicable)
  • Processing Fee
  • Principal Amount

Repayment reminders:

You may receive:

• Mid-term reminders

• Reminders before the Due Date

• Daily reminders if your payment becomes overdue
