Campaign Terms & Conditions
This Campaign (the “Campaign”) is governed by the terms and conditions hereunder (“Campaign Terms and Conditions”), and the Terms and Conditions of du Pay (made available on https://dupay.ae/en/terms (“du Pay Terms and Conditions”)).
In case of any conflict between the Campaign Terms and Conditions and the du Pay Terms and Conditions, the Campaign Terms and Conditions shall prevail, only to the extinct of this Campaign.
All capitalized terms, unless defined hereunder, shall have the same meaning as defined within the du Pay Terms and Conditions.
1. Campaign Duration:
The Campaign runs from October 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024 (“Campaign Duration / Period”).
2. Eligibility:
- In order to enter the raffle Campaign, Customers need to do an international transfer of a minimum of AED 400 to any country during the Campaign Period.
- Multiple entries per Customer are allowed . Each qualifying transfer (of AED 400 or above) counts as one entry
- The Transaction ID of each successful international transfer over AED 400 is considered as the raffle ticket. It is available on the transaction history section of the app.
- Cancelled or refunded transactions are excluded from the entries.
- Employees of du Pay and its subsidiaries (EITC subsidiaries) are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.
3. Prizes:
A total of AED 500,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, in accordance with the Prize Distribution below.
Prize distribution:
- 1 winner will receive AED 100,000.
- 2 winners will each receive AED 50,000.
- 4 winners will each receive AED 25,000.
- 5 winners will each receive AED 10,000.
- 10 winners will each receive AED 5,000.
- 20 winners will each receive AED 1,000.
- 50 winners will each receive AED 500.
- 100 winners will each receive AED 100.
- 500 winners will each receive AED 50.
- 1000 winners will each receive AED 20.
4. Winner Selection and Announcement:
- Winners will be selected through an electronic draw under the supervision of the Economic Department of Abu Dhabi.
- The draw will be held in January 2025, and winners will be announced by January 31, 2025.
- The exact draw date will be announced on our website and social media pages
- Winners of AED 10,000 and above, will be notified via a phone call to the contact number registered with du Pay.
- For the winners of AED 5,000 or below, du Pay will credit the prize directly into their du Pay wallet with an SMS notification to the Customer.
- During the draw (of AED 10,000 and above), if the winner is uncontactable via phone call, the draw will automatically select the next lucky winner.
- Customers are strongly advised to ensure that their contact information is kept up to date.
- du Pay will never request the winners to pay any charges for claiming their prizes and will never ask for their personal identification numbers, account details and other important documentation or information.
5. Prize Payout:
- Cash prizes will be credited to the winners' du Pay accounts by February 2025.
- du Pay will not pay out the funds to any third party upon request of the winners, the funds will only be paid out to the registered wallet holder.
6. Promotion around the draw:
- du Pay reserves the right to announce the winners’ names publicly unless prohibited by law.
- By entering the promotion of this Campaign, unless otherwise stated, key winning Customers (with prizes above AED 20,000) who will be invited to participate in an awarding ceremony, consent to and agree that du Pay may use their name, photos and testimonial videos in any media platform for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any additional financial compensation or benefits to the Customers.
7. Disqualification:
- du Pay reserves the right to disqualify any participating Customer who is found to be abusing the Campaign.
- Any false information or fraudulent activities will result in disqualification from this Campaign.
- The raffle prize may be forfeited if the Customer has breached the Terms and Conditions, and any other applicable terms and conditions, and all applicable governing laws and regulations.
8. General Conditions:
- The Campaign is subject to all applicable UAE laws and regulations.
- du Pay reserves the right to modify or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other benefits or physical cash equivalents.
- du Pay’s decision on all matters relating to this Campaign is final and binding.
9. Limitation of Liability:
- du Pay (including Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company and its affiliates) shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any nature howsoever caused that may be suffered by any participating Customer, or winning Customer.
10. Amendments:
- du Pay reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via official du Pay channels including social media.
11. Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
